Here's How It Works

In the Know has a program that is specifically designed to help organizations like yours train and educate certified nursing assistants and non-licensed aide caregivers in every one of your locations.

KNOW NOW provides you with high quality, detailed inservices—written specifically for CNA’s by registered nurses. 
The inservices can be delivered to all of your branches, facilities
or locations via your company intranet. Don’t have an intranet?  Not a problem: we’ve solved that, too, with a delivery method that gets each of your locations their own set of inservices. And guess what? You’ll save time and money with KNOW NOW.

Here’s how KNOW NOW works:

If you choose to enroll your organization’s multiple locations in our Inservice Club, you will select 12 inservices for use by your locations. (If the Inservice Club is not for you, there are other packages available including a 3 pack, 6 pack and 9 pack!)
 
We prepare and ship to you a CD-ROM that holds all of the topics you selected, as well as our Membership Kit—a resource for supervisors containing excellent tools for inservice recordkeeping, such as sign-in sheets, certificates of completion and ID cards for your aides. 

You distribute the inservices to your multiple locations as you wish: by uploading them onto your intranet for viewing and printing by your various locations, or by emailing the inservices to your branches. Once you purchase these topics, they’re yours to use with your participating locations forever, no matter how many aides you have to educate. 

In the Know Inservices are in a newsletter-style format and provide one inservice credit hour per topic. We have over ninety inservice topics available in a variety of areas.

Our inservices are designed with two study options in mind, so you may decide what meets your needs. Either way, your aides earn 60-minutes of credit!

With the group-study option, little to no “prep” time is required! Stimulating discussion questions and engaging activities are provided with each inservice to spark learning and team building among your employees. The self-study option allows your aides to learn at their own pace. You avoid the hassle and cost of scheduling inservice meetings and client care is not interrupted.

Each inservice includes the following three sections:

In order for an aide to obtain the inservice credit hour, he or she must answer eight of the ten quiz questions correctly. Your staff development person should keep a copy of each aide’s quiz in his or her employee file for survey time.
